The meeting will be held in the Nicholson Board Room of the Longfellow Administration Center, located at 415 Seymour Street in Wausau.

During his years of service in our district, Badge was so much more than a visitor in our hallways—he was a trusted confidant, a source of quiet comfort during tough days, and a reason to smile for countless students and staff. Whether he was helping a student, listening to a young reader, or just offering a gentle head rest, his impact on our school community was truly tremendous.

To every student who walked through EEA's doors, every educator who poured their heart into these halls, and the community that supported them every step of the way—thank you. The school may be closing, but EEA will live on forever.

One year ago, as Grant Elementary prepared to close its doors, U.S. Army Captain Reyes helped retire the school's American flag. But its story didn't end there.

Through the Rising Phoenix program, a unique partnership between local school districts (including the Wausau School District) and UW-Green Bay, students were able to earn both their high school diploma and college degree simultaneously. 

Several student artworks were selected for recognition in the Aspirus STAR (Student Talent Art Review) Competition, an annual youth art contest hosted by Aspirus Health that celebrates outstanding local high school artists.

While 195 Juniors and Seniors challenged themselves with IB courses this past school year, these nine exceptional students went the extra mile to complete the full, rigorous IB Diploma program.

A huge congratulations to Wausau West Sophomore Alison Iaffaldano, who stepped up as this year's student liaison to lead this massive community project, continuing the legacy originally started by alumna Sadie Peissig.
