PBIS: Positive Behavior Intervention and Support
Here at John Marshall Elementary, our core values are:

- Be Responsible
- Be Safe
As incentive, each month of the school year, classroom and specialist teachers will select a student that demonstrates the following:
P- Positive Attitude
A- Accepts Responsibility
W- Works and Plays Safe
S- Shows Respect
These students will be rewarded and recognized at that month's assembly.
They will also receive 50 PAW Points to use in the School Store, have a monthly group picture taken and hung on the PAWS Board, AND have their individual picture taken and hung outside their classroom!
Our School Store:
Students earn Paw Points for showing Respectful, Responsible, and Safe behaviors at John Marshall. Students can shop at the School Store every other week to trade their Paw Points in for prizes. The School Store is located in the trophy case in the primary wing of the school by the office.
Prizes range in prices from 5 points to 300 points. Prizes will change each month.
Students can also earn extra Paw Points for being chosen as a lunchroom VIP (5 Paw Points), having perfect attendance for the semester (50 Paw Points), as well as being chosen by their classroom teacher as a WOW student for the semester (50 Paw Points).
